Troubleshoot Google Cast issues in AllSync

If you are having trouble casting to the display, or no cast destination is found, then please follow these steps. If anything solves your problem, you do not have to continue with further steps.

  1. Double check that the computer and display are on the same WiFi network, and try casting again from a Chrome browser tab.

  2. Reboot the computer and the display, and try again

From here on an IT administrator may be needed.

  1. Check that your Chrome browser is up to date by typing “chrome://chrome” into the search bar. Update if one is available, and try again.

  2. Disable any VPN (Virtual Private Networks) or Proxy Networks used on the computer or display, and try again.

  3. Make sure any firewall or antivirus software is up-to-date and doesn’t block connections to the display running AllSync.

Only move to the next step if the previous steps did not succeed.

  1. If step 4 did not work; unplug and reconnect the router, and try again.

  2. If step 5 did not work; factory reset the display, and try again.
