AllSync supports wireless screen sharing across all major protocols (AirPlay, Miracast, Google Cast, AllSync App, and Dongle). For most protocols, the native sharing resolution is 1080p. When casting with multiple devices at a time, the resolution will reduce to 720p. The table below describes the resolutions per protocol.
|
Protocol |
Resolution |
Notes |
|---|---|---|
|
Airplay |
1080p |
When ‘airplay exclusive mode’ is enabled. Otherwise 720p. |

Allsync App |
1080p |
|
|
AllSync Dongle |
1080p |

|
Google Cast |
720p |

Miracast |
1080p |

For AirPlay users: To get the best possible quality (1080p), make sure ‘AirPlay Exclusive Mode’ is enabled.
Instructions
-
Check your device’s casting protocol (AirPlay, Miracast, Google Cast, AllSync App, or Dongle).
-
Start casting as usual. Your stream will be limited to 1080p for one device.
-
If using AirPlay and you want 1080p, enable ‘AirPlay Exclusive Mode’ in your settings.
-
Sharing to multiple displays? Your stream will automatically adjust to 720p.
Troubleshooting
-
If you expect 4K quality and see lower resolution, this is by design to ensure smooth screen casting on average networks. AllSync does not support 4K casting.
-
If you’re not getting 1080p on AirPlay, double-check that ‘AirPlay Exclusive Mode’ is enabled.
-
For best results, use a single device for casting at a time.
