i3TOUCH EX65 display can have some ghost touches when two EX65 displays are mounted very close together.

🤔 Problem

The EX IR transmitters are mounted bottom left and the IR receivers are mounted top right. The distance between them on both displays for 65” displays is relatively small, so the IR transmitters from the left side display can interfere with the receivers from the right side display. You will then typically see some ghost touch on the left side of the display that is mounted on the right.

🌱 Solution

When mounting two EX65 displays side by side, make sure to mount them at a very slight offset angle (like looking top down at the bow of a ship). We’re talking about only a few milimeters, barely visible just by looking at them, see below exaggerated illustration:

This way the IR signals from the left display will overshoot the receivers of the right display.

On the 75” and 86” models this is not an issue due to the longer distance between the IR transmitters and receivers of both displays.
