Setup Human Presence Detection (HPD) on Riva so that it turns on/off based on people moving in the room.

Instructions

  1. Open the Quick Menu by pressing the physical button at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Press on Settings, this will look like a cogwheel icon

  3. Navigate to General and scroll down.

    1. Toggle on “Wake up when movement detected”

    2. Toggle on “Go to backlight mute when no movement detected”

    3. Select a time-out time you prefer from the “Backlight mute starts after” dropdown.

  4. Close the settings window by pressing on the cross in the top right corner of the yellow window.

Notes

  • You need the Human Presence Detection Module in order to use this function. This is not included in the Riva display, this is an accessory.

  • If the Human Presence Detection option is not visible in the Settings Menu it might be locked in the ‘Dealer Menu’. Please contact your dealer to set the right settings.

  • This function works on displays with firmware version 1004 and higher.
