Change PIN code on Riva

From firmware version 1008 and up note that a minimum length of 6 digits is required.

Instructions

  1. Open the Quick Menu by pressing the physical button at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Press on Settings, this will look like a cogwheel icon

  3. Navigate to Security

  4. Here you will be prompted to enter in the previously used PIN code.

    1. The default PIN code from the factory is 000000 when it arrives (or 0000 in previous models). For security reasons it is highly recommended to change the default PIN code: How to change the PIN code?

  5. Press on PIN Code

  6. Tap on each white input field to Type in your:

    1. Old PIN

    2. New PIN

    3. Confirm PIN (repeat the new PIN here to ensure you typed it correctly).

  7. If you wish to double check the PIN Code’s entered in each field you can press on the eye icon on the right side of the input field.

  8. When you are ready to save, press on Confirm at the bottom of the yellow Settings window.
