A Google app I downloaded from the Play Store is not working as expected

This guide is for users who want to resolve app issues quickly and understand when to seek further support. This article is not for issues with pre-installed system apps like AllSync, Cortex, the Browser or i3WHITEBOARD. Please refer to their manuals.

Apps can only be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Because of this, Google remains responsible for all the apps which that they offer in the Play Store. When an app behaves unexpectedly, we recommend you to refer to the Google Help Center.

  1. Check your internet connection. A stable connection is required for most apps to function properly.

  2. Restart your i3CONNECT display. Sometimes a simple reboot resolves app glitches.

  3. Update the app via the Google Play Store to ensure you have the latest version.

  4. Visit the Google Help Center for official troubleshooting steps:

    • Search for your app or issue.

    • Follow the recommended solutions provided by Google.

  5. Contact the app developer through the Play Store listing if the issue persists.

Troubleshooting

  • If the app still doesn’t work after following these steps, it may not be fully compatible with i3CONNECT Studio or large-format displays.

  • For persistent issues with multiple apps, check for system updates on your display.
