When your computer is connected wirelessly or cabled to an i3CONNECT display, it treats it as an external monitor. This means that you can choose to see a copy of your screen on the display (Duplicate / Mirror) or to use it as a second monitor (Extend).
Extend is often used when the computer needs to be able to see presenter notes during a presentation, and Duplicate is often used for simpler use.
Before we start
-
Make sure your Windows laptop is connected to the i3CONNECT display (via HDMI, USB-C, or wirelessly using AllSync).
-
If you’re using a desktop PC, connect an external keyboard for easier navigation.
-
This should cover all multi monitor situations. Each added monitor should just result in another screen needing to be tapped on.
