Our products are designed to be driver-free, allowing you to focus on what matters most: inspiring ideas and innovating together. Some items examples of this are written below:
Connecting your laptop to the display
Plug in your HDMI and USB (for touch) or a single USB-C cable. The i3CONNECT display uses standard HID (Human Interface Device) protocols, meaning no drivers are required for touch or visual functionality.
Use the AllSync Transmitter (Dongle)
For a cable-like wireless casting experience, plug the AllSync Dongle into your laptop’s USB-C. Once the light on the dongle turns green, press the button to share. This dongle works without needing to install software or drivers.
Install the AllSync app (Optional)
If you want extra sharing features, you can download and install the AllSync app on your computer, tablet or mobile device. While this is an application installation, it does not require any additional drivers to function on your system.

Power on your OPS PC
If your display is equipped with an i3CONNECT OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) mini-computer, it is ready to go out of the box. These units are pre-configured so that no driver installation is needed to start working in the Windows or i3CONNECT Studio user interface.
Troubleshooting
-
Touch not working? Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to the "Touch" port on the display. Since no drivers are needed, a connection issue is usually hardware-related.
-
Dongle not connecting? If it's your first time using it, the dongle may need to be paired with the display. Follow the pairing guide to get synced up.

OPS Performance: If you are an IT administrator performing a fresh OS installation on an OPS, you may occasionally need specific driver packages from Windows or i3CONNECT for advanced maintenance. These can be found on our dedicated OPS support pages.
