Clear app cache and data on i3TOUCH Ultra

This guide is for anyone using an i3TOUCH Ultra who wants to troubleshoot app issues or improve performance. If your app is missing from the list, or you’re not using an i3TOUCH Ultra, these steps may not apply—check your device’s specific instructions.

By the end of these steps, your chosen app will be reset, and any temporary files or stored data will be removed. If the app still misbehaves or won’t open, contact i3CONNECT support.

Before you start

  • Make sure you have administrator access to the i3TOUCH Ultra.

  • Be aware: Clearing data will remove all app settings and sign-ins.

Instructions

  1. Open Android settings on your i3TOUCH Ultra.

  2. Search for “Application” and tap to open the application list.

  3. Find the app you want to reset. If you don’t see it, tap the three dots in the top right and select ‘Show system’ to reveal system apps like i3CONNECT Studio.

  4. Tap the app, then tap Force Stop.

  5. Select Storage.

  6. Tap Clear Cache, then Clear Data.

  7. Exit settings and reopen the app.
