If your i3TOUCH E-ONE interactive display is experiencing touch signal loss, audio issues, or problems after a firmware update or OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) module installation, this guide will help you troubleshoot and resolve common driver and firmware issues. This article is for IT admins, installers, and support staff working with i3TOUCH E-ONE displays. If your issue is with a different i3TOUCH model, please refer to the specific guide for that product.

By the end of these steps, your i3TOUCH E-ONE should have the correct drivers and firmware, and function as expected. If the display remains unresponsive, fails to show an image, or touch/audio features do not work after following these steps, contact i3CONNECT support.

Before you start

Instructions

  1. Check for touch signal loss

    • If your E-ONE is running firmware older than version 2.1.5 and touch signals drop, upgrade to firmware version 2.1.5 or newer.

  2. Update firmware on i3TOUCH E-ONE. Instructions are included in the downloaded firmware file.

  3. Check for audio issues

    • If there is no sound, test touch functionality and check audio settings.

    • If the issue persists after firmware update, the mainboard may be defective and require replacement.

  4. Install OPS drivers

    • Install all recommended drivers for the OPS module from the i3CONNECT support portal, especially after a Windows upgrade.

    • Restart the OPS and verify touch and audio functionality.

Troubleshooting

  • For issues with other i3TOUCH models, refer to their specific troubleshooting guides.

  • If the firmware upgrade does not start, double-check the USB formatting, file structure, and file naming as per the factory info page.

  • If touch or audio issues persist after updating firmware and drivers, or if the display remains unresponsive, contact i3CONNECT support for further assistance.
