New Features

Automations (beta)

Users can now create automations that run actions on devices or groups of devices when conditions are met. The feature is marked with a beta badge.

  • Create an automation and assign devices or groups of devices to it

  • See how often an automation has triggered an action

  • Trigger an automation at a specific time of day (equals, before or after, in the automation timezone)

  • Restrict an automation to specific days of the week or a specific date

  • Trigger an automation based on device connection status (online or offline), with a sustained duration so the state must persist before it runs

  • Trigger an automation based on device restricted mode status, with a sustained duration

  • Trigger an automation when a command is performed on a device: send message, lock screen toggle, remote control session started, restricted mode toggle, configuration applied, device renamed or device shut down

  • Narrow command-based automations to actions performed by a specific user

  • Send an email to selected recipients when an automation fires

  • Send a web push notification to subscribed users when an automation fires

  • Shut down, reboot or put the target devices to sleep when an automation fires

Duplicate a configuration

A configuration can now be duplicated using a new row action in the configuration overview.

Screen-sharing provider selection

Administrators can now select and configure the active screen-sharing provider, AllSync or eShare, through Cortex. The options are shown only for devices that support it.

Device groups for Plus and Basic accounts

Users with a Plus or Basic account can now organize devices in groups. Group actions are not available on these account types.

Switch between the admin panel and Cortex

Users with a tenant admin role can now switch between the admin panel and Cortex using a link in each application.

Backoffice user overview

Backoffice users can now get an overview of all users, search for a user by email address, and link them to their tenant.
