Installing E-Share receiver

Installing the AllSync Receiver on an Android-based display

The AllSync Receiver allows you to turn any Android-based display into a wireless sharing hub, enabling users to cast their screens using the AllSync app or transmitter dongles. This article is for technical specialists or IT administrators setting up an i3CONNECT display or a compatible Android-based touchscreen.

By the end of these instructions, the AllSync Receiver will be installed and ready to accept wireless connections. If the application fails to launch or permissions cannot be granted, please contact i3CONNECT support.

Instructions

  1. Download the receiver file for Android-based displays from https://eshare.app/pro/ .

  2. Copy the downloaded file onto a USB flash drive.

  3. Insert the USB drive into a data USB port on your i3CONNECT display.

  4. Open the file explorer (often called "Finder" or "Files") on the display and locate the USB drive.

  5. Tap the installation file to begin the setup process.

  6. Enable all requested permissions during the installation.

  7. Grant additional system permissions if prompted, as these are required for the receiver to function correctly over other apps.

Troubleshooting

  • Installation blocked: If the display prevents installation, ensure that "Install from unknown sources" is enabled in the Android security settings.

  • License Manager error: If you see a "License Manager" message after installation, ensure the display is connected to a network with internet access to validate the license.

  • App not visible: If the app is installed but not appearing on the home screen, check the "Apps" or "All Apps" section of the i3CONNECT Studio interface.
