Return display / device for repairs after failure - RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation)

Your device needs to be replaced because of a failure, but could not be repaired/replaced on site. In this case, your defective device needs to return to our Service workshop for further attention. These are the conditions of the replacement device whilst your display get’s repaired:

General terms

  • The warranty of the defective device will transfer over to the replacement device.

  • Keep the accessories from the original device. Replacement devices will always come without accessories.

  • In case of a lamp projector you need to keep the lamp from the original unit and place it in the replacement device.

  • When the defective unit is a display please package it in the same way as the replacement was delivered (in the original box & strapped standing vertical on a pallet) to avoid transportation damage, and kindly fix the attached label on the outside of the box for identification.

  • Always make a picture/video of the product before the shipment has been picked up by the transport company. This is done to avoid transport damage discussions.

  • Keep the accessories from the original device. Replacement devices will always come without accessories.

Internal pollution is detected

Internal pollution is the result of insufficient maintenance of the device and is therefore not covered by the warranty conditions.

If the device is recoverable, internal cleaning is charged for this and the device will be recycled internally. If the device is not recoverable, you will be given the option to pick it up or have it sent to the address where the replacement device was sent. Costs for the replacement device and the extra shipping will be charged.

Physical damage is established

It is strongly recommended to let physical damage be known in advance and to visualize it with clear pictures.

Physical damage is not covered by the warranty conditions. The degree of physical damage is determined at the time of inspection.

If the degree of physical damage is accepted, the device will be recycled internally. We might charge the loss of the value because of that damage. The minimum amount that will be charged consists of one working hour (75 EUR).

If the degree of physical damage is too severe, you will be given the option to collect the device or have it sent to the address where the replacement device was sent. Costs for the replacement device and the extra shipping will be charged.

Claimed fault can’t be reproduced

i3CONNECT has the right to return the claimed device when the claimed issue can’t be reproduced. The supplied replacement device may not be taken back. Transport costs can be charged. Therefore, It is important to provide video material to proof the claim is justified.
