Installation Guide for Neo (Connected To Internet)

In this guide we explain the steps in order to install the CTOUCH Neo display. To successfully install Neo a Connect code and Internet connection is required!

Installation consists of two actions: create a connect code and complete the set-up on the display.

Important: to successfully complete the installation of the CTOUCH Neo you need to have completed the “Create a CTOUCH Sphere connect code” action. If you do not have a connect code, installation will not be possible. Please see How to create a CTOUCH Sphere connect code for your CTOUCH Neo for instructions. 

Instructions: install with internet connection

  1. Select language: Set the language of the display.

  2. Select location: Select your location to set the time.

  3. Connect to the internet: Follow the steps on the screen to connect your display to the internet. You can connect to the internet via cable or Wi-Fi. No internet connection available? Please see Installation Guide Neo (Without Internet Connection)

  4. Enter the connect code: Fill in the "Connect code" That you've created on http://sphere.ctouch.eu already. The wizard may refer to Connect Code as "Registration code" in some firmware versions.

  5. Enter display information: After entering, this information will be stored within your CTOUCH Sphere account. This can take up to a few seconds. 

    1. Fill in the display name. 

    2. Fill in the location / building

  1. Select energy mode: Click the button next to the mode name to select which energy mode to use. This can be changed in the settings later if desired.

  2. Select permissions: Click the check boxes to agree with EULA and Privacy Policy in order to proceed.

  3. Select security settings: Select your preferred security settings and whether to install an internet browser. More details can be found in this article: Security Levels on Neo

  4. Set Pin Code: Set your confidential PIN code consisting of 6 digits. Note that this PIN is necessary to alter 'Admin Display Settings' from the menu later.

  5. Check for update: The display will check if there is an update available. The update will be downloaded and performed automatically when the install button is selected when prompted. After this step the installation is finished.
