New Features

Digital Power Consumption (ASPEN 4)

The Cortex client can now communicate digital power usage and saving information back to the Cortex server, enabling power consumption reporting in the Cortex dashboard.

Remote Control Support

The Cortex client is now fully controllable via remote control.

Improved Connection Resilience

The client now gracefully handles connection errors, reducing unintended disconnections and improving stability in network-degraded environments.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where devices were continuously unenrolled due to rate limiting from the Cortex server

  • Fixed an Application Not Responding (ANR) issue occurring in the Cortex client

  • Fixed an issue where device details were not populated after transferring a device to a managing organization

  • Fixed an issue where commands executed during a device transfer were always shown as failed in the action history

  • Fixed an issue where deleting a device from Cortex did not disable Restricted Mode on the device

  • Fixed an incorrect UUID being sent in the device APK install response

  • Added mandatory flag to the registered system receiver for Android 16 compatibility

  • Added foreground service type declaration required by Android 16
