Conditions for activation and use are that the machine needs to have an active internet connection, and i3ANNOTATE & i3License Manager need to have unrestricted access to https://license.i3-technologies.com to be able to activate the license key. Please check your firewall and or proxy server settings.
The installer package will install both i3Annotate and the i3 License Manager wich is reponsible for handling the license registration.
During registration the i3ANNOTATE license information is written in the following folders:
C:\ProgramData\i3LM
The user account which is used to register and start i3ANNOTATE must have read AND write rights on those folders & files. -
Activation of i3ANNOTATE can be done using any of the following three possibilities:
- An i3LEARNHUB license key purchased for a fixed number of pc’s/users. PC’s can be activated using the same license key until the maximum number of activations is reached.
- The serial number of any i3 interactive product can be used to activate a single pc.
- The login details of any i3LEARNHUB can be used to activate. Multiple activations can be done, but they cannot be used simultaneously (e.g. a teacher uses his account to activate a pc at school and a laptop at home but never uses them at the same time).
