Release notes for Laser Nova

WARNING: You need to use the correct firmware-version in order to prevent damage to your display. You can also use the OTA-update method to update your display. Please look at https://docs.i3-connect.com/ for more information.

Double Notifications: It may happen that two notifications will appear. One of the notifications is for the firmware update of the display. The other notification will be for the update of the UP-Android module. Please make sure you update both, in order to update the whole system.

LAN Required: A LAN-connection is required to update the display via OTA. If you do not have a LAN-cable available, you can update the display by using a USB device. Please contact your dealer for the USB update method firmware file.

UP-Android Module: 1064

  • Fixed discrepancy between OTA firmware Mainboard and Up-Android Module

    • As some preparations need to be made for the next firmware version which holds major improvements. the display will ask to install new firmware twice. Please install both to be sure you will have the latest firmware on your display.
