Alex Nan will show you how to use the i3CAIR
-
i3CAIR is an indoor air quality sensor meant to improve the wellbeing, health and safety of rooms such as a classroom or meeting room.
-
It monitors and analyzes air quality data
What does it solve
-
It avoids the spread of viruses such as Covid 19 by alerting people in the room when the air quality is dropping.
-
This helps with health concerns and prevents the spread of pathogens and harmful air conditions.
-
Good indoor air quality also has a positive impact on productivity
What to use?
-
Installation of the i3CAIR is done under the display using the optional MultiBracket mount.
-
Once installation is done you can download and install the i3CAIR app from the i3STORE on your display.
-
Download and install the application and check that the i3CAIR is connected to the display via USB, and you are good to go. It’s a plug and play product that will startup the home-screen widget to show your air quality.
How to use?
-
i3CAIR widget is next to the date and time.
-
In the example, a green icon is shown which indicates that the air quality is good.
-
The i3CAIR Quality Index is a mixed number based on the values of the sensors for Carbon Dioxide, Fine Particulate Matter, Room temperature and humidity. This is an abstract representation of the air quality
-
When tapping on the widget on the home-screen you can see the full app
-
In the app you see the current values of your sensors, as well as a graph showing the i3CAIR Quality Index over time in that space. The green dots of the chart are the current days results and the thin blue line is the previous days results for reference.
-
The chart is updated every 15 minutes
-
At the top of the chart you can use the arrows to look at previous days and their results.
-
A demonstration is given of an air quality warning alert given and the resulting air quality improvement in the chart after people took the necessary actions.
-
Tapping on the
in the top right of the chart shows the relative colours indexed for the quality of the air in the room.-
Good is green
-
Moderate is yellow
-
Unhealthy for sensitive groups is orange
-
Unhealthy is vibrant red
-
Very unhealthy is dark red
-
Hazardous is purple
-
-
Next to the
button we see the average Air Quality Index of that day -
Above that we see the current (live) Air Quality Index
-
By tapping on the
you will be brought to this manual. -
Next to the
we have the alert button that shows a history of alerts for this room and the current effects of the air quality on your health. Tapping on an alert gives you more information. -
The last button in the top right is the settings button for activating or deactivating alerts and calibrating the sensor (in rare cases).
