If your i3TOUCH P2 or ULTRA display can’t find your 2.4GHz WiFi network, it may be set to the U.S. region, which only supports channels 1–11. This article helps you connect to networks using channels 12 or 13 by updating your region settings. This guide is for anyone setting up WiFi on i3TOUCH P2 or ULTRA displays outside the U.S. If your network uses channels 1–11, you don’t need this article.
By the end, your display should connect to 2.4GHz WiFi networks on channels 12 or 13. If you still can’t connect after following these steps, contact i3CONNECT support.
Before you start
-
You’ll need temporary access to another network or skip WiFi setup during the initial wizard.

Complete the setup wizard without connecting to WiFi, or connect to a temporary network if needed.
-
Open Android settings on your i3TOUCH display.
-
Go to the System submenu.
-
Change the region to your local country/region. This unlocks WiFi channels supported in your area, including channels 12 and 13.
Troubleshooting

If your display still doesn’t see your WiFi network after changing the region, double-check your router’s channel settings.
-
