Firmware Releases for Laser Sky

Below you will find the improvements and changes we made in the firmware. If you have any suggestions, found a bug or want to inform us about how we can make our displays even better, please send an e-mail to pm@i3-connect.com

You need to use the correct firmware-version in order to prevent damage to your display. You can also use the OTA-update (online update) method to update your display.

Firmware 1035 (2021/08)

  • Fixed locked Favorite apps per app issue in firmware 1033.

  • Added PIN code for Dealer Menu.

  • Added control LAN connections within the display.

  • Added Lock Favorite apps per app, to block specific apps.

  • Added automatic switch back to home option, after disconnecting external devices.

  • Changed default OTA URL.

Firmware 1031 (2019/08)

  • Added extra OTA function:

    • On = No OTA pop up but still manual OTA possible.

    • Off = No OTA pop up and no manual OTA possible.

    • Auto = OTA pop up and manual OTA possible.

  • Improved Dutch and English language.

  • Improved the backlight mute function.

  • Improved the colour of hidden Float Bar Icons.

  • Improved (linguistic and functional) functions in Dealer Menu.

  • Fixed VGA buzz.

  • Fixed wallpaper no input channel from external device.

Firmware 1029 (2019/01)

  • Added Blue Light Filter.

  • Added improved MirrorOp apk (1.0.0.5).

  • Added Dynamic Contrast Setting (5000:1).

  • Added new timer function - Sunday till Thursday.

  • Added OTA function for MCU, HDMI & touch frame firmware.

  • Added extract/insert Dealer Menu & Display Menu settings.

    • Only possible when both displays have the same FW-version.

  • Changed COStm icon in Source Bar.

  • Fixed minor bugs.

Firmware 1026a (2019/01)

  • Added functions to prepare for next firmware version.

    • As some preparations need to be made for the next firmware version which holds major improvements.

  • the display will ask to install new firmware twice. Please install both to be sure you will have the latest

  • firmware on your display.
